The core function of the Traffic Manager is to ensure the continuity of the network and streaming logs and to maximize revenue for the company and results for its customers. This position will work out of our Anthem, AZ office location.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Input of client advertising contracts: Traffic and manage terrestrial and stream logs, process order revisions and enter new orders

  • Manual reconciliation of unresolved exceptions: Work with engineering and production to resolve issues and exceptions, process make-goods and manually adjust logs as needed

  • Ensure all creative has been received and meets with network standards

  • ·Manipulation of commercial spots to maintain proper separation between commercial spots from similar products.

  • Ability to handle oversold situations, prioritize inventory, and meet deadlines.

  • Prioritization of bonus and N/C inventory situations depending on client and sales need

  • Perform sell out analysis and inventory optimizations.

  • Troubleshoot any campaign/creative issues that affect tracking, implementation, or reporting.

  • Coordinate with sales, account management, engineering/production, on-air staff and business management teams on all issues relating to campaign delivery/performance, commercial spots, and order entry.

  • Strive for a mistake free system resulting in minimal credits or charge backs directly related to departmental performance

  • Generate weekly logs for distribution to network affiliates

  • Generate inventory and sales reports as needed for senior management

  • Assist accounting with billing, invoicing, and posting payments as needed

  • Assist programming and senior management with technical setup of shows and other inventory packages


  • Radio or TV traffic experience

  • The ability to prioritize workload and perform multiple tasks in a high volume, deadline driven environment

  • Ability to work independently

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Detail-oriented and very organized
