The weekend news anchor would be responsible for on-air news reports. This would include recording and editing the newscasts for broadcast as well as preparing the content to be posted on USARadio.com.
Present news on-air during assigned shift
Announce station programming information
Recording and editing news broadcasts and post on to our affiliated websites
Able to work all assigned timeslots as well as willing to be on-call for emergencies and special radio events
Other duties assigned by News Director or Asst. News Director
Excellent communication skills
Experience writing scripts as well as potential posts for website affiliate
Some experience as an on-air host preferred
Working knowledge of broadcast equipment
Understanding and support of the mission behind USA Radio
Must include aircheck and sample script with resume
